A Message from the Founder
For over 20 years, I've worked with students across different classrooms, cultures, and systems. And through all of that experience, one truth has remained constant:
Many children are capable of far more than what traditional education measures.
We reward grades. We track test scores. We celebrate outcomes that are easy to quantify. But some of the most important skills in life: discipline, initiative, resilience, financial understanding, leadership are often left unmeasured, and therefore, undervalued.
I started Medals of Merit to change that.
This is not just another programme. It is a structured way for young people to step into real-world challenges, develop meaningful skills, and earn recognition that reflects genuine effort and growth. Each medal represents more than completion. It represents proof. Proof that a child has taken ownership, followed through, and built something that will stay with them long after the experience itself.
As an educator, I believe deeply in guidance. But I also believe in responsibility. Children do not grow by being told. They grow by doing.
That is why every pathway within Medals of Merit is designed around action. Real tasks. Real milestones. Real accountability. And importantly, real pride when they achieve something that is truly theirs.
